Why during the last several centuries no new vegetable crops have been discovered. Same vegetables that our ancestors ate for over several generations are still consumed now. Same potatoes, brinjals, cabbages, Cauli flowers, Beans, potatoes, etc. Mr. Jairam Ramesh can engage our Scientists to identify new vegetables for consumption instead of budging to the pressures of US Industrialists in the embracement of BT Brinjals. This would also help the Financial Institutions to do away crores and crores of Income tax related transactions. This is the only solution.
